Dietetics

Start Change Today

Dietetics is the science of food and nutrition and their impact on health. Dieticians use this knowledge to create personalised eating plans to improve health, manage illnesses, or achieve specific goals. They help with weight management, chronic conditions like diabetes, recovery from illness, and overall wellness, often working with healthcare teams for the best outcomes.

A dietitian can help you by providing expert advice and personalised plans to support your health and nutrition goals,
including:

● Chronic Diseases: Diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity.
● Digestive Disorders: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and food intolerances.
Allergies and Food Sensitivities: Creating safe, balanced meal plans for food allergies or sensitivities.
Weight Management: Support for weight loss, weight gain, or maintaining a healthy weight.
Pregnancy and Postpartum Health: Nutritional support for a healthy pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Eating Disorders: Assistance with recovery from anorexia, bulimia, or binge eating.
Childhood Nutrition: Addressing picky eating, growth concerns, and balanced diets.
Chronic Fatigue or Low Energy: Strategies to improve energy levels and overall vitality.
Age-Related Nutrition: Support for seniors to maintain health, strength, and mobility.
Nutritional Deficiencies: Managing low iron, calcium, or other nutrient deficiencies.

Dieticians tailor their approach to everyone’s unique needs, helping to improve health and manage specific conditions
effectively.
