Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to the most common questions about our sports injury and rehabilitation services.

Do you work with teen athletes?

Yes. We specialise in helping young athletes manage growth-related pains and sports injuries. Programs are tailored to their stage of development, and we keep parents and coaches informed throughout the process.

No referral is required for private bookings. If you are attending under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan, WorkCover, DVA, or insurance, please bring the relevant paperwork from your GP.

Most new patients are seen within 2–3 days. During busy school sport and finals seasons we prioritise urgent screenings so athletes can get back on track as quickly as possible.

Wear comfortable gym clothes and sport shoes. Bring along any imaging results, GP referrals, or reports. It also helps if you can share details about your sport, playing position, and performance goals so we can tailor your plan.

Absolutely. We encourage parents to be involved, especially for younger athletes. This way you’ll fully understand the plan, the expected timeline, and how to support your child’s recovery at home.

It depends on the type and severity of the injury. Minor sprains may take 2–3 weeks, while ACL or post-surgical rehab can take 6–12 months. We’ll outline an expected timeline during your initial screening so you know what to expect.

We treat a wide range of sports injuries including ankle sprains, knee injuries (ACL, MCL, meniscus tears), shoulder and elbow injuries, back pain, wrist injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. We also manage overuse conditions such as tendinopathy and stress-related pain.

Not at all. While we specialise in sports injury management, we also support active adults and weekend warriors who want to move better, recover stronger, or prevent injuries in everyday life.

It depends on where you are in your recovery journey.
