Edgar Tang

Physiotherapist

BPhty

Edgar is an experienced physiotherapist with over four years of experience working with elite-level athletes. After graduating from the University of Queensland with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies, he worked as Head Physiotherapist for Eastern Suburbs FC and more recently as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Queensland Firebirds Pathways program. Edgar is passionate about helping people move better and return to the activities they love. He has a particular interest in post-operative rehabilitation and takes a detailed, evidence-based approach to return-to-sport testing to ensure athletes return to optimal performance. Edgar is an ASCA Level 1 accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach, allowing him to integrate strength and performance principles throughout rehabilitation. Outside of work, Edgar enjoys heading out for a fish and fuelling up with a good flat white.

Lauren Robinson

Exercise Physiologist

For Lauren, becoming a Clinical Exercise Physiologist was an obvious choice. After many years as an elite swimmer at both junior and senior levels, she experienced firsthand the profound impact exercise has on performance, recovery, and overall well-being. This personal insight inspired her career in exercise physiology, where she has since worked with a diverse range of clients, including those in Paralympic and disability sports, paediatrics, and individuals with complex musculoskeletal conditions. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) from the University of Queensland. Her particular areas of interest include oncology care, neurological rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal health. She has also completed Clinical Reformer and Mat Pilates Level 1 training through The Pilates Institute of Queensland, and she often integrates Pilates into her treatment plans to enhance recovery and strength. With prior experience in personal training, group fitness, and sports coaching, Lauren adopts a client-focused approach in her practice. Her passion lies in guiding individuals through their unique physical and mental well-being journeys. She is committed to taking the time to connect with clients, listen to their concerns, and leverage her knowledge and experience to empower them to lead more active and healthy lifestyles. Outside of her clinical work, Lauren enjoys spending time at the gym or pilates studio, following her favourite AFL and Formula 1 teams, and indulging in some online shopping.

James Baker

Physiotherapist

James is a physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people move better, recover stronger, and get back to performing at their best, whether that’s in sport, work, or everyday life. His primary interests include musculoskeletal rehab, athletic performance and injury prevention, and post operative recovery. He brings an extension background in sport, with years of experience in athletics and cross-country coaching at elite female private schools, where he was mentored by some of Australia’s leading coaches. He has also worked as a sports trainer for football and netball teams, gaining valuable experience in injury prevention, load management, return-to-sport planning, and working within multidisciplinary sporting environments, all of which strongly inform his physiotherapy practice. With a background in competitive athletics, James has a deep appreciation for the demands of training, competition, and recovery. Outside the clinic, he enjoys running, watching premier league football, and four-wheel driving, reflecting his active lifestyle and passion for movement.

Jaxon Premerl

Senior Exercise Physiologist

Senior Exercise Physiologist with a strong interest in sports rehab and performance, injury prevention and chronic pain and disease management. With experience working in both elite sports and clinical settings, he takes a practical, evidence-based approach to help people move better, build confidence, and get back to doing what they enjoy. Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find him in the gym, playing football, golfing, cooking, gardening or watching sport.

Emily Lin

Physiotherapist

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Emily graduated from Bond University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy and is passionate about helping people move with confidence and achieve their health goals. Emily has experience across women’s health, orthopaedics, geriatrics, and private musculoskeletal practice. She provides evidence-based care through comprehensive assessment, exercise prescription, manual therapy, and patient education, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs. Emily has a particular interest in helping people improve mobility, regain independence, and return to the activities they enjoy, with a clinical focus on women’s health and geriatric rehabilitation. She is known for her warm, compassionate approach and enjoys building genuine relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. Outside the clinic, Emily trained in Latin dance for over seven years, developing a strong appreciation for movement, body mechanics, and the body’s ability to recover and perform.

Hayden Kitchin

Exercise Physiologist

Hayden is an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist dedicated to helping people achieve their health, fitness, and performance goals. With a strong interest in musculoskeletal rehab and athletic performance, he enjoys working with both competitive athletes and recreationally active individuals, guiding them on their journeys to hit new personal bests in the gym or on the field, reach new levels of fitness or return from injury. He gained experience as a strength and conditioning coach working with the UQAFC Division 1 senior men’s team through the 2025 season. Hayden also finds chronic disease management highly rewarding, helping less active people find their own passion for movement, health and fitness. With longevity and sustainability at the forefront of his approach, Hayden empowers his clients to lead healthier lives. Outside of work, Hayden enjoys training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, strength training in the gym, working on trading financial markets and relaxing in his downtime. Whether in the clinic, on the mats, in the gym, or studying the markets, Hayden is driven by a passion for growth, performance, and helping others reach their potential.

Mitchell founded Motion Health in 2023 with the vision of redefining what it means to live and move well for life. Built around the concept of longevity, Motion Health was created to bring together a passionate team focused on problem-solving sustainable health solutions that empower people to do what they love for life. Across the past nine years of clinical practice since graduating from his Master of Physiotherapy, Mitchell has combined his experience in clinical care, business ownership, and elite sport including his work with the A-League men’s Brisbane Roar to develop a holistic and forward-thinking approach to health. Mitchell believes true health is built on longevity. His philosophy focuses on empowering people to move with purpose, build resilience, and create sustainable systems that support lifelong wellbeing. He works closely with every individual to identify goals, address underlying issues, and establish habits that promote lasting results rather than temporary relief. He enjoys helping clients recover from injury and strengthen their bodies to prevent future setbacks. With a particular interest in shoulder and lower limb sporting injuries from running and football, Mitchell’s approach is centred on education, movement quality, and developing lifelong strength and mobility.

With a background working with pro footballers, Olympic athletes, and top strength competitors, and as a national-level powerlifter himself, Clinton understands the demands of both recovery and peak performance. Specializing in sports injuries, particularly in the gym, Clinton tailors his approach to help you recover and reach your goals. He’s also dedicated to teaching the next generation of physiotherapists at the university level. Whether you’re dealing with an injury or looking to improve your performance, Clinton is excited to help you on your journey.

Aidan Bender

Aidan is a senior Exercise Physiologist/Exercise Scientist and director at Motion Health Bulimba. Aidan uses exercise/movement interventions to reduce chronic pain, prevent injuries, and facilitate high performance (on field, on court, in your job or everyday life). Aidan works with elite athletes, modern-day athletes, those in pre- and post-operation stages, NDIS , WorkCover (workplace rehab) and various chronic diseases such as lower back pain, diabetes, and obesity. Aidan has years of experience in the health industry, helping countless people achieve their movement or pain reduction goals. Aidan also has a resume playing football (soccer) for the Brisbane Roar academy and various high level clubs around Brisbane. Anyone who has a movement goal or wants to live a happier, more fulfilling life, Aidan is ready to help!
